Sunpak Auto 124 External Flash Unit for 35mm Film Camera
This external flash unit will work on any 35mm film camera that has a hot shoe attachment, the Sunpak Auto 124 external flash has a universal 1 pin cold shoe for attachment to hot shoes/ cold shoes with 1 pin.

The standard way to set up your flash is to slide it on the hot shoe attachment, insert your batteries before or after this then wait for it to charge (you’ll hear a little whine whilst its powering up), a light should indicate it has charged.
This models has a test button to easily test the flash before use (ALWAYS point the flash away from you to avoid your eyes!)
If you camera is an automatic SLR it will have a flash setting. If not your SLR will need to be set to the same ISO/ASA and shutter speed you have the camera settings on. Test the flash to sync the camera’s shutter with the flash. This may take a few attempts! You will see half or a small amount of your photos may have black/unexposed parts if the flash is too fast for the cameras shutter speed.
