Linux Tux
Penguins are cool, pretty goofy and probably the only birds in the world who forgot to be birds. No other animal looks funnier waddling in the snow yet cooler gliding over the ice as they do. No surprise that Linus Torvalds, the founder of Linux, chose the feathered companion as the logo for the Linux operating system in the mid ’90s.
Apples and windows are easily made, but do these symbols make us smile? We think not! But Tux does every day with his wonderful big belly, a broad grin and huge feet.
If you agree with us that Tux is an iconic and classic mascot, then let everyone know with the Linux Tux shirt.
According to the Linus Torvalds biography, Tux should look like he has just enjoyed a litre of beer and had the best sex of his life!
Best reasons ever ;).
