You shall not parse!
Who knew that two small words could make a seasoned programmer sweat and shiver in fear? Simply utter “syntax error” to reduce anyone who works in IT to a hot mess. While they might take certain liberties in their use of grammar, their syntax is nothing to trifle with.
The “You shall not parse!”-t-shirt shows who’s responsible for all the syntax errors and failed parsing attempts in this world: grey wizards who are trying to defeat Balrogs. We can’t really tell what they’re doing inside the code, but we most certainly can ask them to fix their mistakes after they’ve killed the demon and have levelled up.
After all, programmers have better things to do than fixing syntax errors!
