The Legacy Player app (available on iOS and Android) makes it easy to control your entire wireless home stereo system from your smartphone or tablet. Assign channels, adjust volume, or switch between left, right, and mono outputs for each speaker — perfect for customized sound setups.
Play the same or different audio from each speaker via the app. Changing stereo speaker outputs wirelessly saves you remembering which colour RCA is for left or right audio! Instead, set up all your speakers and then remotely assign left / right / mono until you’re happy.
Intuitive Connection with Legacy Player
Connecting your WR320 to Wi-Fi is quick and easy. Simply open the Legacy Player app, connect the device to your home network, and enjoy synchronized multiroom audio. Even if your speaker setup is from a different brand, the Legacy Player app unifies your home audio with multi-device compatibility.
Flexible Bluetooth and AUX Connections
For single-room playback, use the WR320 as a Bluetooth adapter for speakers, or connect directly via AUX for any other audio output. This quick-connect option is perfect for playing audio without the need for multiroom functions—ideal for on-the-go or single-room setups.
How to Use
- Connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi Network. Ensure you have a phone or tablet connected to your intended Wi-Fi network, as you will need to have the log-in information saved on your device to pass to the WR320.
- Download the Legacy Player or August Audio App. Older phones and tablets can use August Audio, while newer devices may need to use Legacy Player. Functionality is the same, so don’t worry!
- Scan for the WR320. In the app, while connected to your home Wi-Fi, scan for the WR320. When the device appears, tap it and connect to its own Wi-Fi network (Called WR320) to successfully allow the WR320 access to your saved Wifi information.
- Connect WR320 to a speaker / output Choose either 3.5mm or optical audio and connect your WR320 to the speaker, soundbar or other audio device you want to add Wi-Fi to.
- Connect Third Party Apps. Once connected, you can play audio from your phone through the connected speaker over your WIfi. To add even more functionality, log in to Spotify, TuneIn and more while the Legacy/August Audio app is running.
