The Lord of the Rings Snow Globe
When it’s cold and dreary outside again and the days are getting shorter, you want to make yourself especially cosy inside. A hobby cave would be the epitome of snuggliness, but unfortunately it is difficult to realise. You can easily bring a bit of Middle Earth into your home though, with these magical The Lord of the Rings Snow Globes. They come in three different versions, so you can choose the one that suits your mood:
The Ents look very calm, but can also get quite angry! But don’t worry, Treebeard’s mind is cooled by the snow that falls on his leaves. The snow globe rests on the shoulders of the old tree creature, to whose trunk a sign has been attached to remind you that you are in Middle Earth.
Hobbits know exactly how to make themselves cosy in the dark season: good food, hot drinks and a crackling fire in the fireplace. Perhaps Frodo shakes his own snow globe now and then and remembers his long and arduous journey. In the globe the ring is immortalised – fortunately only as a replica! – and the base is wrapped in Frodo’s travelling robe. Emblazoned on the cloak is the quote, “Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.”
Mordor is a land of fire and drought. Some precipitation certainly wouldn’t hurt here. Now you can make it snow with a wave of your hand over the tower of Barad-dûr. Will this extinguish the fire of the lidless eye? At the base of the snow globe, which is shaped like the tower, Sauron’s iconic helmet is also incorporated.
This time of year is also very fitting for a “Lord of the Rings” movie marathon, for which the snow globes are perfect as atmospheric decoration.
