The new RS1 subwoofer is the perfect partner to Ruark’s multi-award winning MR1 MK2 speaker system as well as the R3S and R410 one-box systems. As you would expect from Ruark the R1S has style in abundance with performance to match.
The RS1 features a 100-watt Class D amplifier driving a 170mm long-throw driver in conjunction with a 170mm passive radiator. This combination delivers deep, low range bass frequencies that smaller speakers aren’t capable of, the result is a more satisfying, immersive listening experience.
Using an industry standard RCA input, the Ruark RS1 subwoofer is also compatible with other makes of home cinema and audio systems.
Luxurious design
The vast majority of subwoofers on the market are just ugly boxes, in comparison Ruark’s RS1 has a luxurious look and feel, beautifully hand-crafted walnut wood panels sit top and bottom with an attractive tailored grey grille wrapping the central section. The design is a perfect match to other Ruark speakers including the MR1 MK2 and R3S, providing a harmonious, aesthetic style.
Simple set-up
Simple Set-up
For ultimate simplicity the RS1 has an Auto-on/standby feature so that the subwoofer turns on and off automatically when you switch your speaker system on or off. Connection is made via a regular RCA cable, (a 1.5m cable is supplied in the box) and longer subwoofer cables are available in store.
You can easily fine tune the sound to match your room size and attached speaker system thanks to simple crossover and level controls on the rear panel.
