It is no coincidence that this tape dispenser is shaped like a cassette. Because in English, the word “tape” means both adhesive tape and audio tape. And for those who don’t remember: the audio cassette was equipped with such a tape, which could also be rewound with the help of a pencil if it ever got off track.
Although that’s is not necessary with this Retro Cassette Tape Dispenser. To insert a new roll, simply pull the two halves apart and put them back together again. Unfortunately, you can’t record romantic music on it to make someone happy, though. It is, however, still possible to label this office utensil, just like it was with the original cassette, and then give it as a gift. That could almost be romantic again – at least if the recipient also remembers those good old days ;).
