Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers
Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are the features that make the PS5 controller great. Both adding a level of realism to the controller, that you simply cannot find in any other controller in this day. Haptic feedback adjusts the intensity of the controller vibration to match different in-game events. Imagine that you are watching a building collapse. Haptic feedback would raise the intensity of the controller vibration to match the feeling of the falling rubble. Adaptive triggers alter the trigger resistance to match what you are using. For example, when using a melee weapon, you would feel the triggers become more resistant due to the swing speed. Whereas with a gun, there’d be no resistance.
