Primare I15 is a beautifully built, high-performance integrated amplifier in a compact three-quarter sized cabinet. The I15’s efficient, cool-running amplifier uses Hypex all analogue Class D power modules to deliver an impressive 60 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and 100 watts per channel into 4 ohms.
When designing their audio components, Primare prioritises sound quality, of course, but they also pay close attention to the cosmetic design and to how the controls feel. Primare equipment exudes the hallmarks of Scandinavian design – everything in balance, proportion, and harmony.
Primare describes the I15 as an “all analogue” integrated amplifier. This means it doesn’t include a built-in DAC for connecting digital music sources that don’t have analogue RCA outputs. The I15’s rear panel provides five sets of stereo RCA inputs for connecting your music sources, plus RCA pre-outputs for connecting an additional amplifier. An optional MM15 Phono module is available should you want to connect a turntable that doesn’t have an integrated phono stage.
