Whilst others are still ranting about the resolution of Fallout 4, we remember that an epic game doesn't need too many pixels. Alright, a little bit of illustration is nice, we don't want go back to Zork… But everything that can be played on a C64 is more than enough!
These 1600 pixel magnets allow you to recreate your favourite scenes from Donkey Kong and co. You don't need an antique computer or Paint, just a metallic surface like a fridge or a magnet pin board.
Pretty much everything can be captured as a simple pixel structure. Check out the photos to see how a purple villain doesn't require more than 24×14 pixels :). Of course, there are loads more possibilities… How about a pixilated portrait? A shopping list with pixel fruit symbols? Or a some new levels of Super Mario?
The single magnet pixels are sized 1×1 cm. The 16 different colours derive from the C64's colour palette, so you'll get some nice retro tones. The single colours come as pre-cut mats, –you just need to free the single pixels. By the way, that's just as satisfying as making bubble wrap pop or removing protective foil!
