Naim Audio have upped their game with the redesigned Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation. This compact, cube-shaped speaker offers intuitive wireless streaming with app-based control from your smartphone or tablet.
Redesigned speakers for optimal performance
The Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation features redesigned speakers that are angled to provide a full, spacious soundstage. The redesigned bass driver is reinforced by two passive radiators and optimised by powerful DSP (digital signal processing) technology to ensure deep, powerful bass performance. Each speaker is powered by its own amplifier, for minimal cross-interference and clear, accurate sound.
The Naim Streaming Platform
At the heart of Mu-so 2nd Generation is Naim’s music-streaming platform, developed by 25 engineers over 3 years to offer the very best performance whether playing your own digital music collection, a world of Internet radio, or music streaming services such as TIDAL and Spotify. This acclaimed innovation is uniquely found in Naim music-streaming products, such as its Uniti range and dedicated network players, including the £20,000 flagship ND 555.

Built-in Apple AirPlay 2 technology lets you stream audio directly from your iPhone®, iPad®, or Mac® computer plus you can also use the Qb 2nd Gen as part of an Apple AirPlay 2 multi-room system.
Multi-room audio with the Naim app
Download the free Naim control app for your smartphone or tablet, and you have even more options. You can control up to five Naim components to create a Naim multi-room audio system. Group your connected speakers so that the same song plays throughout the house, or only on certain speakers. You can have every speaker accessing a different source and playing a different song. Build playlists with the app, and browse thousands of internet radio stations.
Stream music with Chromecast built-in
The Mu-So Qb 2nd Generation also has Google Chromecast built-in. You can control it through the Google Home app downloaded to your smartphone or tablet. You can make your Naim speaker part of a wireless multi-room audio system with other Chromecast built-in speakers and components.
Play music from Spotify®, TIDAL, Qobuz and Deezer. Enjoy internet radio from TuneIn. Chromecast built-in can also play music directly from the cloud, including high-resolution audio files up to 24-bit/96kHz.
Digital, Analogue and USB Inputs
Boost audio from digital sources with optical connections such as TVs, set-top boxes or games consoles. There’s also a built-in stereo jack (3.5mm) socket that can connect your Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation to other devices. Connect a USB stick or external USB hard drive to Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation and experience all your music in audiophile quality.
New Intuitive Control Dial
The latest control dial is beautifully crafted and supremely intuitive with 15 touch sensitive buttons and a bold, illuminated volume dial with a proximity sensor that wakes the display when your hand approaches.
