The Mamiya M645 1000s was first manufactured from 1976 to 1990.
The M645 1000s features 15 6×4.5 exposures, on a standard roll of 120 film. The Camera features a modular design, allowing interchangeable viewfinders and lenses. It uses an electronically controlled cloth focal plane shutter offering speeds from Bulb to 8 seconds and 1/1000 seconds.
The camera features MLU (Mirro lock-up), as well as a Multiple exposure feature, a self-timer, and a depth-of-field preview lever. The film is carried in cartridges that could be pre-loaded but does not feature interchange film backs.
The camera also features a waist-level non-metered finder, the camera can also be paired up with three varieties of TTL metered prisms (CdS, PD, and AE).
