In meinem Alltag kommt die “Bild”-Zeitung nicht vor
Anyone who has even vaguely followed the reporting on the corona virus or Covid-19 will have heard the name Christian Drosten sooner or later. The German scientist heads the virology department at Berlin’s Charité and, among other things, explains the latest findings on the new virus in the “Coronavirus Update” podcast and press conferences. Unfortunately, this has made him a target of the tabloid press, which is known to thrive on scaremongering – especially the Bild newspaper.
When asked about the anti-science and biased “reporting” of the Springer newspaper, Drosten replied casually: “The ‘Bild’ newspaper does not appear in my everyday life.” And this attitude should become the maxim of all those who prefer to rely on science rather than crude populism! With this T-shirt you can show that you do not accept it when the independence of science is called into question and when personal attacks take the place of objective debates. For us nerds in particular, something like this is simply unacceptable!
