Focal’s popular line of flax speakers has been well-received by the Hi-Fi world. Now Focal has woven this successful design into a high performance in-wall speaker. The 300 IW6 is ideal for listening to stereo sound or for enjoying your favourite film soundtracks as part of a home cinema system. It is also appropriate for reproducing surround sound or Dolby Atmos effects as part of a multi-channel system.
Premium Flax Drive Units
The 300 IW6’s mid-bass woofer is made from an exclusive flax cone material. A layer of hollow, ultra-lightweight flax fibers is sandwiched between two thin layers of glass. These extraordinarily light-yet-rigid woofers deliver rich, uncoloured midrange and tight, natural bass.
This speaker’s other driver is an aluminium/magnesium alloy inverted dome tweeter which provides a fast, accurate response allowing detailed, dynamic highs that extend all the way up to 28,000 Hz. The orientation of the tweeter is fully adjustable so that you can direct the high frequency sound towards your listening area, helping to improve stereo imaging.

Both the level of the mid-bass and the tweeter can be adjusted in three steps to suit your room’s acoustics.
