Focal’s popular line of flax speakers has been well-received by the Hi-Fi world. Now Focal has woven this successful design into a compact in-ceiling speaker. The 300 ICW8 In-ceiling loudspeaker is the largest model in the 300 Series and it delivers stunning performance with deep, punchy bass, crystal clear mid-range and superb high frequency reproduction.
The 300 ICW8 is ideal for larger rooms and is perfect for listening to stereo sound or for enjoying your favourite film soundtracks as part of a home cinema system. It is also appropriate for reproducing surround sound or Dolby Atmos effects as part of a multi-channel system.
Premium Flax Drive Units
The 300 ICW 8’s mid-bass woofer is made from an exclusive flax cone material. A layer of hollow, ultra-lightweight flax fibers is sandwiched between two thin layers of glass. These extraordinarily light-yet-rigid woofers deliver rich, uncoloured midrange and tight, natural bass.
This speaker’s other driver is an aluminium/magnesium alloy inverted dome tweeter which provides a fast, accurate response allowing detailed, dynamic highs that extend all the way up to 28,000 Hz.
Adaptable to your décor
The 300 ICW8 includes two grilles — one square and one round — that you can paint to match your room’s décor. Plus, they’re magnetic, so attaching them is a breeze.
