Bruce Lee Collectible Figure “Stomp”
No way as a way; having no limitation as limitation.
Bruce Lee is a legend of martial arts. Throughout years of hard training he developed a philosophy of his own. He was of the opinion that it does more harm than good to strictly follow the teachings of a certain fighting style. Every person is different and has to find their own technique and – not only in fighting – do what works for them instead of following rules and guidelines.
The skills of Bruce Lee himself apparently did not even follow the laws of nature. His strength and especially his speed were incomparable. Again and again he emphasised that limits were self-made, whether mental or physical, and thus his whole life was geared towards overcoming these limitations and achieving the impossible.
The Bruce Lee Collectible Figure “Stomp” illustrates this by showing the Kung Fu fighter smashing a massive stone tablet with a well-aimed jump. The scene is reminiscent of Lee’s epic appearance in his last (complete) film “Enter the Dragon”, when he saw his adversary O’Hara off in the same way. The detailed figure shows Bruce Lee in the uniform of the tournament on Han’s Island. It stands on a stable diorama from which clouds of dust swirl up between the splinters of the stone tablet – a perfect symbol of the fact that the martial artist has always remained a down-to-earth person despite his incredible skills.
