The fact that the MR280 includes an Optical Audio port puts it above other transmitters which rely only on 3.5mm audio. The Optical Audio port provides the highest fidelity wired sound from your Optical Audio TV. This, in turn, is broadcast to your Bluetooth devices.
Cabled Bypass Mode
Use the cabled Bypass mode to connect the MR280 between your TV and Home Cinema. The optical In and Out allow the sound to pass, and you can use the transmitter or receiver at any time you need it. No need to constantly connect and re-connect cables.
Easy Set Up
- Power the USB Bluetooth adapter. Connect the included USB-C cable to power the MR280.
- Connect an audio cable. Choose either Optical or 3.5mm audio and plug into the Input or Output ports.
- Select Transit or Receive. If you used a cable input, set the MR280 to transmit. If you used a cable output, set the MR280 to receive.
- Pair the second device. Make sure your other device (Phone, PC, headphones etc) are in pairing mode and hold them within 10cm of the MR280.
- Sit back and relax! Once paired, the name will appear on the MR280. Select with a single press, and enjoy your audio up to 10 meters from the adapter.
